Benin Bronze to be Returned to Nigeria After so Long

It is no news to us that a great deal of the Benin bronzes had been removed from Nigeria during the colonial era in the 19th century. Now, after so many years, a great amount of these Benin bronze artefacts have been set to be returned from the British Museum in Germany to their place of origin, Benin Nigeria.

This is indeed great news for us as they are part of what tells the story of the Benin people of Nigeria. This return is set to start next year and we all look forward to the event of that happening.
